The "Toys in Surfland" is an exhibit with rare and unusual memorabilia from the huge collection of Dave Reynolds and a few collectibles from HBISM board member Kotch Keiser.

Dave love for surfing and surf related toys began over 25 years ago. The massive of nearly 100 collectibles is breathtaking and gives a museum looker an unforgettable experience.

There are figurines and action figures, clocks, woodies, cars, jigsaw puzzles and many other unique toys. Most of Dave's collection has been purchased through stores, antique shops and online. Did you know Barbie surfs?

What's amazing about this collection is how it illustrates the broad scope of toys related to surfing. Yes, even a "Cow-A-Bunga" toy! Just for you Corky.

The collection goes back to the 1960s and earlier, giving some museum goers a time capsule view of passed memories. Yet this collection is very impressive for younger surfers how surfing culture has played a big part in the toy industry.

Some will take notice of figurines such as Bob's Big Boy restaurant mascot, Bob, and Felix the Cat, while the younger crowd will recognize other characters that they grew up with.
